The Maurice Young Millennium Place Society is a catalyst to enrich community life and enhance the resort experience through
strategic partnerships, community engagement and art programs. We encourage, support, build and operate
innovative programs that challenge, engage and stimulate our community to develop their creative,
inspirational and intellectual awareness.
The Society operates Millennium Place as an active meeting place to celebrate mountain life, inspire thought, provoke conversation and share
a sense of community. Our programs attract 50,000 visitors annually. At Millennium Place you’ll find the 250–seat
Wilhelmsen Hall, hosting music, theatre and films, and community gatherings. There’s also
a youth centre offering a fun and safe place to hang out with friends, a meditation room for reading and quiet moments, and
an art gallery to inspire.
